Issue: Cultural Awareness

Cultural awareness is rapidly gaining relevance beyond teaching our children tolerance for classmates and people of diverse ethnic heritage.  Cultural awareness is becoming a required job skill.  Preparing students to work within a diverse cultural environment includes understanding the language, but also understanding the issues, etiquette and customs of potential co-workers in this country and other countries as well.
