For a
company just 12 years old, Communicaid has had a lively
and successful history. Here is a brief synopsis of
major events of the last 12 years:
1992: Communicaid
International was founded to cater for the language
training needs of corporate organisations in London.
1993:
Joint venture with The University of London School of
Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) led to the
establishment of SSEES-Communicaid which quickly became
the UK's centre of excellence for the languages and
cultures of Central and Eastern Europe.
1995: Communicaid
English launched to provide specialist English
language training to the overseas corporate and public
sectors.
1996:
Acquisition of leading language organisation to
consolidate Communicaid‘s position as one of the
UK’s most successful language and cultural awareness
training companies.
1998:
Launch of Communicaid
Langues – Communicaid’s first overseas training
centre in the heart of Paris.
2001:
Launch of Communicaid Frankfurt – Communicaid’s
second overseas training centre in the financial heart
of Germany.
2001:
Launch of Communicaid
Public Sector to provide language and cultural
awareness training to public sector and NGOs worldwide.
2001: Communicaid
International launches its new spectrum of Cultural
Awareness and Communication
Skills Training programmes.
2002:
Communicaid leads the way in the development of Speech
and Culture training programmes for overseas contact
centres in India and the Philippines.
2003:
Joint venture with UCL dissolved; SSEES-Communicaid 100%
owned by Communicaid Group Ltd.
Presently:
In a very short time, Communicaid has become a leader in
the field of bespoke language, cultural awareness and
communication skills training to the world’s leading
corporate and public organisations. With a
dedicated team of 30 professionals and a faculty of 600
trainers and briefers, Communicaid is able to meet the
needs of our clients on a global scale. London, Paris,
